Regional Director, California

This hands-on Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving and generating sales, sales growth, market expansion, developing sales strategies, and adjusting existing techniques to increase sales revenue to achieve assigned individual and territory goals. This position pioneers and grows relationships both corporately and in the field and identifies, develops, and implements a sales strategy within the assigned territory that will create new sales opportunities. Our regional sales directors manage marketing campaigns, analyze current market trends to meet consumer demands, plan promotional events, handle employees’ sales training programs, and coordinate with their remote sales teams to implement effective sales processes.

Role details:
– Develops and implements strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals
– Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
– Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales
– Advises dealers, distributors and clients concerning sales and inventory strategies
– Represents company at trade association meetings to promote the brand and its solutions
– Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives
– Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
– Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
– Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
– Effectively manages sales budget for the region

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree
– 7+ years in sales
– 3+ years in a management position leading a team of employees
– Automotive industry experience preferred
