Role details

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, and working closely with our Lead DevOps and Infrastructure Developer, this role will have the opportunity to work on many aspects of our transition to containers and Kubernetes, working on migration of existing applications, improving CI/CD pipelines, and operational monitoring and alerting. An increased focus on information security has opened up projects that will span the organization and will heavily involve our development and DevOps team. These projects are actively developed and deployed to production affecting business operations and customer engagement.


  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps or similar infrastructure disciplines
  • Has an interest in building highly available, scaleable and reactive systems
  • Experience with configuration management systems like Chef or Ansible
  • Worked with monitoring systems such as PagerDuty, Icinga, Grafana
  • Linux system administration experience
  • Thrives in a hard-working environment
  • Detail and support oriented personality
  • Motivated to produce and ship high-quality code
  • Understanding of development practices and software delivery

Good To Have

  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and related technologies (Docker, Helm, Prometheus)
  • GitLab experience, especially building CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of IT security compliance (ISO27001, SOC, PCI)

  • Develop and improve CI/CD processes using tools such as Gitlab, Chef, Jenkins, Maven
  • Build production systems running in various cloud providers (AWS, GCP and Azure) using Terraform and Helm Charts
  • Work with an evolving technology stack that rapidly integrates new technologies
  • Build monitoring systems using Icinga, Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack to provide insight and improve operational stability
